Meet the Hoosier Security Team
The real assets of a company are its people. Hoosier Security is no exception. Take a minute to meet some members of our team. These are the people responsible for ensuring you are taken care of and receive the best possible security system for your needs.
President and General Manager
After spending 15 years in the industry, Armando founded Hoosier Security based on the principles of taking care of people, solving their problems, and being fanatical about service, because real security is important. Driven by a personal mission to secure as many people and properties as he can, Armando has built a company culture that encourages effective problem solving, rewards service, and demands results while providing a dynamic, encouraging, and enjoyable work environment. He has a music degree from Indiana University and enjoys playing saxophone and spending time with his wife and three kids. A perpetual builder, he loves to take things apart, figure out how they work, and sometimes he even puts them back together again.
Director of New Business Development
Alex has over 15 years experience in the security industry and has been with Hoosier since it was started. He has worked with small non-profit organizations to very large logistics companies with multiple warehouses as well as municipalities and has extensive experience in video surveillance, access control, and all manner of monitored security systems. Alex is also in charge of our national accounts program. When not designing security systems, he enjoys playing guitar, online sim racing, gardening, and camping with his wife and their two dogs and twin boys.
Duston has been working in this industry for nearly 20 years. He loves his work and strives to please our customers. On the weekends he spends time with his wife and his children, four girls and a boy, that keep him on his toes. Our customers absolutely love Duston and he shows pride in making sure they are taken care of and that our promises are kept as he leads our technical department.
Security Sales and Consulting
Andy is a proud resident of Cottage Home Neighborhood and NearEastside Indy. He is passionate about providing a valuable service to business owners both large and small. He fills his days working with clients to find creative solutions to their security needs, and his nights with his family or working in the community. You can find him walking to the office, biking his kids to school and soccer, or next door at Centerpoint Brewing. Join him Friday afternoon for a beer!
Justin is one of our talented install techs, and brings with him over 12 years of experience in CCTV and commercial burglar alarm installation on national accounts. Having earned his IPVM Access Control Certification, Justin is rapidly increasing his skillset and adding to his arsenal of knowledge. With twins at home, Justin is used to having his hands full and performs extremely well under pressure. He is all about getting it done and getting it done right.
Spong (because there are two Justins here!) is another one of our talented technicians with over 10 years experience in commercial access control and alarm systems. Justin is experienced in both IP and analog video surveillance systems including Avigilon, Digital Watchdog, Bosch, among others. With a brand new baby at home, be sure to cut him a little slack, he might be sleep deprived.
Aaron brings 10 years of commercial security systems experience. Often lauded for his attention to detail and broad base of knowledge, Aaron has over 15 industry recognized certifications including IPVM, Paxton, Lenel, and many others. In his free time, Aaron is a fixture in the world of competitive RC cars.
Patrice has been working with custom built surveillance systems since 2005. Her experience doesn’t end there though, as she also runs a successful pool service and leak detection company with her husband, Matt. Patrice and Matt have two kids, a rottweiler, and according to the state, “lake front property.” She also works as a data analyst in the pharmaceutical industry. In her spare time, Patrice enjoys spending time with the family, going to the casino and horse track, fantasy football, hiking, fishing, and most of all sitting on the couch and watching TV if she doesn’t fall asleep first. She also enjoys sleep.

Bill brings a generation of experience to Hoosier Security. He is responsible for making sure all of our projects have the utmost attention to detail and that they come in on time and on target. Bill carries a wealth of knowledge and certifications, and just plain old good experience with all manner of security and life safety technology. He is the final step in our exhaustive QA process. When Bill is not driving our technicians to perform at their top levels, he is known to be out on his boat competing in professional fishing tournaments.
He’s a good boy!
Murphy Cheek was rescued on a dark and stormy night from the mean streets of Broadripple by Katherine Kidd, his first mom. After being fostered for many weeks by Kat, he moved into his forever home with Karen Cheek in 2011. When not working at Hoosier Security, Murphy enjoys lying on the sofa next to his mom, ignoring his two cat brothers, Fionie & Jet (Cats? What cats?) and attempting to entice anyone available into a rousing game of fetch with his crate full of toys. Murphy makes each day at Hoosier Security a happier and friendlier place to be, greeting you at the door with his wagging tail and smiling face.
